Seventh Avenue String Quartet performed at a wedding ceremony inside one of the most amazing wedding venues, Oheka Castle on Long Island. Below is a link to a video of them performing “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve, “Starlight” by Muse, “Eleanor Rigby” by The Beatles, “Trumpet Voluntary” by Clarke and “Canon In D” by Pachelbel. This quartet plays rock music from Journey, Guns ‘N Roses, Coldplay, pop music by Katy Perry, Pink, Taylor Swift and many other rock and pop artists. They also play all of the classical pieces written for a string quartet you would expect to hear at a wedding ceremony.
Recently, they also did another wedding ceremony as an eight-piece string ensemble that included 2 cellos, 2 violas and 4 violins. They not only performed for the couple’s wedding ceremony and cocktail hour but, they also played along with a DJ for the wedding couple’s first dance. The bride and groom chose “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey from the movie The Great Gatsby. The DJ was DJ Neza from www.NYbeatsDJs.com.
